Service Opportunities
Children’s Ministry
Our children’s ministry is for every child who comes through our doors to feel loved, come to know Jesus, and find a place where they can grow through fun and life-changing experiences. We have the best trained volunteers to care for your child allowing us to break into smaller classes to better serve your family. We would love to have you join.
Student Ministry
The student ministry fosters an interactive environment that allows students to gather and explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Discipleship happens through the hearing of God’s word, worship, games, and life group breakouts weekly. If you have a heart to invest in the next generation, we would love to connect with you.
Young Adult Ministry
Our young adult ministry is for people aged 18 to 30ish to gather, build their faith, and deepen their relationship with Jesus. We want all of our young adults to find a welcoming community, become disciples, and help build God’s kingdom in our community. All young adults are welcome at our fun, faith-based activities and gatherings.
Life Groups
If you are not already involved in a Life Group, this is an important next step to you becoming what God would have you be as part of the Northside Community. Our Life Groups are a way of providing more personal and in-depth experiences of community. We are not meant to do life alone! We are better together. At Northside, we have a variety of Life Groups that meet both at the church and in homes. There are groups for men, women, married couples, singles, and young adults.
Legacy Ministry (ages 50+)
Our senior adults join in legacy ministry for encouragement and social adventures. A committee meets to plan events. Join with other seniors and share God’s goodness.
Women's Ministry
Our women’s ministry is focused on helping you learn to love the Lord your God. We listen to God through prayer and Bible study. We rejoice that no matter what you are going through, we can hold fast to Him. Several women’s life groups meet during the week, and the women’s ministry team meets to plan events. We need one another! Join the ladies ministry and be encouraged!
Men's Ministry
Men’s ministry brings men together to develop friendships, have fun, and encourage each other. But most importantly our passion and purpose is to help develop men into godly leaders for their church, their families, their place of work, and their communities.
Community Outreach
This team serves our community through service projects, providing meals, and working with local organizations to serve our community.
Greeters/1st Impressions
This team provides a warm, friendly, and orderly environment so visitors and members feel welcome at worship services and other church events. They ensure that guests are provided with information, service materials, and directions, helping to ensure a hospitable, fulfilling worship opportunity.
Chair Ministry
This team is responsible for the setting up and breaking down of our weekly chair arrangement in our worship center.
Building & Grounds
This team provides general oversight for the building facilities and the grounds of the church property. They monitor facilities to make sure everything is in proper working order. Volunteers are needed at times for specific projects or work days.
Worship Ministry
There are many ways to serve in our worship ministry, we are always looking for musicians, singers, audio engineers, and tech volunteers. This team is instrumental in our weekend worship experience.
Production Team
This team works diligently behind the scenes to facilitate and enhance our worship experience. There are many ways to serve: audio, visual, lighting, camera, and live-streaming.
Upward Sports
Upward is a faith-centered community sports league and camp that calls for an army of volunteers to invest in the kids and families of our local community. Whether you enjoy sports or not we have a place to get you plugged in to serve.
Creative Team
We are always looking for individuals who enjoy documenting how God is moving in the life of Northside. Volunteers help produce photography, graphic design, video, and social media.
