What is Easter Season?
Easter tells the greatest story ever told: Jesus’ journey to the cross, His sacrifice for us, and the victory of His resurrection. At Northside Church, we invite you to walk through this powerful season with us and discover the hope and life that Easter brings.
If you’re looking for meaningful Easter services in Syracuse, this is a time to gather, reflect, and celebrate together. Whether you’ve been walking with Jesus for years or you’re just beginning to explore faith, there’s a place for you here. You’re invited to celebrate Easter with us through a series of meaningful gatherings designed for individuals and families of all ages.
Palm Sunday
Sunday, April 13th at 6pm
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week. It’s the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, and the crowds welcomed Him by waving palm branches and shouting, “Hosanna!” – a word that means “save us.”
But even as the crowds cheered, Jesus was beginning His journey toward the cross. It’s a moment filled with both celebration and humility, and it sets the tone for everything that follows.
Join us as we reflect on what it means to welcome Jesus into our lives today, just as they did on that very first Palm Sunday.
Good Friday
Friday, April 18th at 6-8pm
Good Friday is a solemn and sacred time when we remember the crucifixion of Jesus. On this day, we pause to reflect on the depth of God’s love for us, which was displayed fully as Jesus willingly gave His life on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin.
But even in the sorrow, there’s hope. Because we know the story doesn’t end there.
This service is designed for all ages and is one of the most powerful worship gatherings of the year. We encourage everyone to come and remember what Jesus has done for us.

Easter Weekend
Saturday, April 19th at 6pm
Sunday, April 20th at 8:30am, 10am, and 11:30am
Easter is the heart of our faith. It’s the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, which was His victory over death, and the new life we can have through Him. Because of Easter, we don’t have to live in fear or defeat. Hope is alive!
Whether you’re a regular attender or this is your first time walking through the church doors, Easter is the perfect time to encounter the life-changing power of Jesus. If you’re looking for Easter services in Syracuse where your whole family is welcome, we hope you’ll join us.
