Are you considering a summer camp for your child?

Sports are a great way for children to learn about teamwork, respect for authority and sportsmanship. The sad part is all those things are being lost in today’s sporting society. With an Upward sport, these key essentials are included to create the best sporting experience for every child that participates. Each Upward Sport is designed to reveal the winner in every child.  Every child plays. Every child learns. Every child IS a Winner!

By providing an evaluation system that promotes equal teams and opportunities, establishing a one-hour practice and game each week, implementing a substitution system for each team, allowing every child equal playing time and creating the opportunity for every child to learn the skills of the game the emphasis is placed on having fun and good sportsmanship, not the scoreboard and standings.
Northside Baptist is excited to offer three camps this summer: Upward Boys Basketball Camp, Upward Girls Basketball Camp and an Upward Cheerleading Camp.  Download registration forms to the left for more details.

Our winter season runs from January through the beginning of March.  Registration begins in October.  Registration forms can be mailed or dropped off at the church office anytime between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.  Evaluations and orientation are conducted in December.  Practices are once each week in the evening for an hour, followed by game day each Saturday. The season concludes with a special Awards Celebration for all participants and parents. The early registration cost is $65 per player for basketball and $55 per player for cheerleading.  The cost includes a uniform, scripture learning tools, car magnet, music CD, end of the year award and much more.
