Why membership?

We believe strongly in the value membership in a local church. While our primary commitment is to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we also recognize the need to be an active part of His church.

To become a member at Northside, there are a few things that need to take place:

1. You must have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord.
2. You must either have been baptized by immersion previously, or be baptized by immersion at Northside.
3. You must complete our Discovering Northside class (approx. 4hrs, lunch included), held monthly at the church.
4. You must be willing to support the church and it's mission and ministry with your time, talents and resources as God leads.

To begin the membership process, simply come forward at the end of one or our worship services and request membership or attend the Discovering Northside class. Once you've successfully completed the requirements listed above, your name will be submitted for membership at our next monthly business meeting. Once the congregation has voted to approve your request, you will be a member of Northside Baptist Church.
