Q: Is Northside Baptist Church affiliated with any denomination?
A: Yes. Northside partners with thousands of like minded churches around the world through the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). We are an autonomous, self-governing congregation who believes that we can accomplish far more when we partner with other churches than we could ever accomplish on our own. Through its various missions organizations, the SBC provides support for thousands of missionaries both here in the US and abroad. Q:How are decisions made at Northside?
A:We are a democratic body of believers in Christ who are:

• Christ centered
• Pastor led
• Deacon served
• Committee functioned
• Congregationally approved

Our leadership teams are tasked to make recommendations and those recommendations are, in turn, brought before the general body for approval through a vote. Church members and attendees are encouraged to attend monthly business meetings, but you must be a member of Northside in order to vote on any issue.
